I've never really done the whole x number of dates thing.

Pretty much all of my relationships just kind of gradually happened, maybe a first date if we met online, where we'd more or less just hang out, and over time things progressed. From the beginning of getting involved to deciding it's an official relationship, probably a few weeks. It was about two months of long distance dating our first date and then three weekend-long visits before we had the "so, wanna make it official? However, we were pretty much a couple from our first date.

Neither of us was interested in seeing anyone else and we were talking every single day. We went out the last two nights in a row and then today he drove to see me after work at my office i live right near his house before we both had to go about our evening plans it was sweet. Current SO it was date 3, five days after I met him, he asked but then took it back and told me he'd give me two dates to think about it. Sure enough two dates later he was very ants in the pants and asked lol. We were casual hook up buddies before deciding to start dating.

So our first date was after we became official! I think 2 over the span of 3 days. We moved super fast. Still together 3 years later, but it was pretty scary at the time. We hung out every night for a week or so before we started dating officially. Had a couple official 'dates' in that week span, but we became official after seeing each other for a week. About six months worth? We were exclusive after three dates, and that was good enough for me from an emotional and safety standpoint.

I honestly have no idea how many dates it was, but we had the exclusivity talk after a month, maybe a month and a half? I've rarely been on a date with someone I wasn't already in a relationship with. I don't know, we'd been seeing each other for about 3 months. No clue how many dates were in there. I don't know if we ever said anything like official. We said "exclusive" after two months but neither of us were dating anyone else during that time. It was just confirmation. Neither of us were dating anyone else at the time.

He Does These 4 Things If He Wants A Relationship

Every time we started making out or anything I'd ask if he was sleeping with anyone else and he wasn't. I think I held off on asking if we were in a relationship until the 2 month mark. If you want to be exclusive just say it. Worst that happens is he says no and you save yourself some time! It was more like we hung out a lot, we had sex, we went on a labeled date after having sex, and we were like "this is gonna keep be a thing, yeah? We spent most weekdays together for like a month before we committed. We took a trip together for our tenth date and we have been together ever since.

Both of us had problems with commitment but we upfront and honest that we were happy with each other and tired of playing around. I dunno, we never really had an official date.

We hung out as friends for about two weeks, then we hooked up, and we were basically together ever since. My boyfriend and I were a weird situation. We met on tinder and he never wanted anything serious.

But the more time we spent together the more serious it got. Exclusivity is a major signal that you are ready to date this person for real. A gateway into commitment is not seeing any other people and devoting all of your attention to this one person. Thinking about a future with this person might make you think that you are ready to commit to them. You would be right for thinking so as this is one of the more prominent signs.

You can picture a future with this person. It may seem silly, but you can actually base whether or not you are ready for a relationship off of when you truly feel ready. You will just know when you want to make this person yours. When someone is ready for a relationship, they will almost let you know subtly. They will bring it up every now and then. Dropping hints here and there. You just have to pay attention and really listen or else you might miss it.

They might be too nervous to be extremely straightforward. They will always be keeping in touch with you. They will make sure to let you know what is going on in their life. They will want to tell you their good and bad news first, before they tell anyone else. Communication is key in a relationship.

So if you notice an incline in communication, you might be headed to relationship-ville with them. Vulnerability is a major factor in deciding whether or not they are ready for a relationship with you. When they let their guard down it means something special. They are trusting you in every way possible if they are doing that.

They might be ready to commit to you if they have started bringing you around the most important people in their life. They will start introducing you to their family and closest friends. That might be because they plan on keeping you around for awhile. If u know what u are doing, and giving the girl great sex, u wont have to worry about her being "bored" after 3 months Thats a womens job. And to say they wont make the first move? If a girl likes you enough, she wont let u wander around potentially fuking other girls too long. Originally Posted by oohhhyeah.

What I don't know won't hurt me and what she doesn't know won't hurt her Your goal with woman should not be to become 'official', wtf is that crap. Your goal should be to tap that ass on the regular without having to commit.

Unless your one of those delusional people thats dating a 26 year old girl that still claims she is a virgin.

Legit thought this was a troll thread when first reading it haha. If you're asking a girl out after 3 dates you are either 16 or you're being way too needy. Girls are attracted to guys that are confident and of higher value, being needy is a huge turn off.
